History

The Treehouse Museum was founded in 1993 by Dr. James Maynard, who believed that all children deserved an opportunity to learn about and experience the world of science and technology. The museum was originally housed in a small building on Historic 25th Street in Ogden, but soon outgrew its space. In 2002, the Treehouse Museum moved to its current location in the newly renovated Union Station.


Exhibits and Programs

The Treehouse Museum offers a variety of exhibits and programs that are designed to educate and entertain children of all ages. Some of the museum's most popular exhibits include the Dinosaur Discovery Center, the Imagination Playground, and the Treehouse Observatory. The Dinosaur Discovery Center is a hands-on exhibit that allows children to learn about dinosaurs through a variety of interactive activities. The Imagination Playground is a unique exhibit that allows children to use their imaginations to create their own play space. The Treehouse Observatory is an exhibit that features a working telescope and offers views of the night sky.
