Waterfall Canyon Trail in Ogden, Utah is a great place to hike with friends and family. The trailhead starts near the mouth of Waterfall Canyon and follows the canyon up to the top of the waterfall. The trail is well-marked and easy to follow. There are several places along the trail where you can stop and enjoy the views of the canyon and waterfall.


History

The Waterfall Canyon Trail was built in the early 1900s by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). The CCC was a government program that provided jobs for young men during the Great Depression. The CCC built many of the trails and roads in Ogden Canyon, including the Waterfall Canyon Trail.

Today, the Waterfall Canyon Trail is a popular hiking trail. It is also used by mountain bikers and horseback riders.

Waterfall Canyon Trail is a family-friendly hike that offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and canyons. The trailhead is located just outside of Park City, Utah.


The trail is well-marked and easy to follow. It winds through a forested area for about a mile before opening up into a beautiful meadow. After crossing the meadow, the trail climbs up a short hill to the base of the waterfall. From there, hikers can either continue on to the top of the waterfall or turn around and head back down the trail.


The views from the top of the waterfall are truly breathtaking. Hikers can see for miles in every direction. The waterfall itself is about 30 feet tall and is a beautiful sight to behold.
